Brook and Elizabeth Mosser, alongside Phil and Diane Comer, invite you into a conversation about biblical formation — offering wisdom, encouragement, and practical tools for raising passionate Jesus followers. As an intergenerational team that is also family, we bridge the perspectives of different life stages, drawing from both decades-long experience and fresh insight on the topics of parenting and marriage. From vulnerable Q+R sessions to insightful guest interviews, we explore real-life stories of both steady formation and radical transformation — unpacking how God is shaping our lives and the lives of those around us. Join us each week as we pursue God’s design for life, marriage, and parenting — with intention.
The Intentional
Film Series
We created this film series to help parents in their God-given task of raising and making disciples of their children. Our hope is to give parents the tools we couldn’t find — yet so desperately needed — when we first set out to raise our own kids in the way of Jesus.
Bottom-Up vs. Top-Down Parenting
PDF Download
Do you ever find yourself at a loss when it comes to disciplining your children as they move beyond the toddler years? Do you wish you could instantly curb the pushback, mood swings, and moments of disrespect? In the early years, parenting decisions often feel more straightforward. But as children grow, navigating discipline and behavioral challenges becomes more complex.
Many of us were raised in households where obedience and rules were paramount, often reinforced with phrases like “because I said so” or “children must obey their parents in the Lord.” In contrast, today’s parenting culture often emphasizes emotional validation above all else—prioritizing a child’s feelings while avoiding firm boundaries or consequences.
SO, HOW DO WE STRIKE THE RIGHT BALANCE?
The Bottom-Up vs. Top-Down Parenting model does just that — shifting the order in which we respond to our children’s behaviors, with an emphasis on both correction and connection.

Raising Passionate
Jesus Followers
BY PHIL + DIANE COMER
For Christian parents, few things bring greater joy than seeing their children walk with the Lord—and greater fear than watching them walk away. Raising Passionate Jesus Followers was created to help parents navigate that journey with confidence and hope.
Rooted in decades of ministry and real-life parenting experience, this practical, biblically grounded guide offers time-tested wisdom for every stage of a child’s spiritual growth—from laying a foundation of faith in the early years to keeping the door open as they become adults. It’s a trusted resource for anyone who wants to raise children who genuinely love and follow Jesus.
He Speaks
in the Silence
BY DIANE COMER
He Speaks in the Silence is the story of Diane Comer’s search for the kind of intimacy with God every woman longs for. It is a story of trying to be a good girl, of following the rules, of longing for a satisfaction that eludes us.
Disappointed with all Diane had been told was supposed to fulfill her, she begged God in desperation to give her more.
And He did. But first He took her through a trial so debilitating it almost destroyed what little faith she had.
He let her go deaf.
Like so many Christians, Diane thought she’d signed up for the “wonderful plan for your life” and deafness certainly didn’t fit her idea of a wonderful life. Yet in her brokenness, God met her and lifted her out of the pit of despair she was digging for herself. He lifted her onto the solid rock of real faith, and taught her to believe He is good even when life goes bad.
Using vivid parallels between her deafness and every woman’s struggle to hear God, this book reveals how Diane learned to listen to God, finding intimacy with her Savior and the soul deep satisfaction she longs for.
