In the quiet moments of prayer. In conversations at the dinner table. In the hidden, faithful yeses of parents who choose formation over hurry, faith over fear, and presence over perfection.
This year has been a year of sowing… of planting deeply, trusting fully, and watching the first signs of growth emerge.
A Foundation That Still Bears Fruit

When we began Intentional Parents, our dream was simple: that families everywhere would raise children who love and follow Jesus.
We could never have imagined how that dream would grow. Over the years, we’ve seen the Lord heal homes, restore marriages, and reignite hearts for discipleship.
Today, under Brook and Elizabeth’s leadership, we are filled with gratitude as we watch that same mission continue to flourish. The soil is rich. The next generation is leading with humility and faith. And we are seeing the fruit of seeds planted long ago, families being formed into the likeness of Christ.
We are grateful to remain involved in the ministry and count it a joy to support the work God is doing through this team. We remain honored to cheer on this beautiful work.

FORMATION IN MOTION
This past year has been marked by grace.
When we stepped into leadership, we did so with deep honor and gratitude for the decades of prayer, wisdom, and perseverance Phil and Diane have poured into this work. Their steady faithfulness shaped what we now get to carry forward.
Over the past year, we’ve witnessed the slow and steady work of the Spirit — families strengthened, parents learning to lead with love, marriages restored, and hearts turned toward Jesus. Through every retreat, every resource, every intentional conversation, one thing has become clearer and clearer: formation happens over time, in ordinary moments, through small but consistent practices.
Every prayer whispered, every story shared, every step of obedience — it all matters. It is shaping real people, real homes, real families.
In 2025, that looked like two sold-out Marriage Retreats, our first Motherhood Retreat outside of Bend, the launch of The Intentional Fatherhood Podcast, the release of Sowing a Hidden Seed: Daily Prayers for Your Child’s Spiritual Growth, and the announcement of our first East Coast gathering in Franklin, Tennessee. We also watched The Intentional Parents Podcast expand its reach, helping more families step into intentional discipleship than ever before.
This year has reminded us that formation is sacred work. It’s about becoming, not just accomplishing — becoming more whole, more attentive, more aligned with the heart of Jesus in our homes and in our relationships.
We’re grateful for you, for this community, and for the way God continues to move through it. And we’re hopeful. Expectant. Ready. Because we believe we’re only at the beginning.
What God Grew This Year

Two sold-out gatherings reminded us that when marriages are strengthened, families are transformed.

This year’s Portland retreat was at capacity, and for the first time, we announced an East Coast gathering in Franklin, TN. We witnessed mothers encounter the healing presence of God.

From tears to laughter, from grief to renewal, God met women in profound ways. Chains were broken. Stories were rewritten.

This year also marked a major milestone: the launch of The Intentional Fatherhood Podcast with Justin Whitmel Earley and the announcement of the first Fatherhood Retreat coming soon.

The release of Brook’s 31-day devotional, Sowing a Hidden Seed, has already found its way into more than 5,000 homes. Parents are discovering that prayer isn’t about performance or perfection, it’s about presence and commitment.
