Over the past two years, hundreds of mothers from around the country have gathered with us for a weekend of worship, teaching, and connection. We can’t wait to do it again at the Intentional Motherhood Retreat, April 23–25 in Franklin, Tennessee.
This isn’t a weekend of parenting tips and tricks — it’s a spiritual formation retreat for mothers in every stage, from those hoping to be mothers one day to grandmothers and everyone in between. Together, we’ll explore how motherhood gently leads us to spiritual formation, how relationships are essential for the journey, and how our connection with God spills over to our connection with our families.
Come be refreshed, encouraged, and reminded that motherhood isn’t meant to be done alone. We can’t wait to see you.
Speakers:
Diane Comer:
Diane Comer is a prolific writer, author, speaker, teacher, and co-founder of Intentional — yet her most profound passion lies in her role as a wife, mother, grandmother, and mentor to parents all over the globe. She deeply desires to help women grow in the art of being women in our cultural moment and come alongside them as they raise their families. Diane is a mother of four grown children and nine grandchildren and feels she is just getting started in her calling to help raise the next generation.
Elizabeth Mosser:
Elizabeth Mosser is a speaker, teacher and co-host of “The Intentional Parents Podcast.” She helps lead Intentional alongside her husband, Brook, and her parents, Phil and Diane Comer. As a mother of four — Duke, Scarlet, Birdie, and Sloane — and with a passion for helping other moms in the dailiness of motherhood, Elizabeth brings wisdom and compassion to every conversation. Her journey of raising a child with disabilities and living with chronic illness has deepened her passion for supporting families facing similar challenges. Though Elizabeth’s journey of motherhood has been different than she had planned, she finds renewed hope each day in the renewing work of Jesus — both now and in the “not yet” — and shares that hope with others.
Together, Diane and Elizabeth form a mother-daughter team, bridging the generations to bring biblical hope, practical help, and healing to parents in their God-given task of raising passionate Jesus followers.
Special Guest:
Megan Fate Marshman
As an international speaker at churches, conferences and university chapels, Megan Fate Marshman is a leading voice to this generation. She aims to love Jesus and prioritize her family as she says, “Yes!” to serving God with her one wild and precious life.
Megan is finishing her Doctorate of Ministry as she serves as a teaching pastor at Willow Creek Community Church and the Director of Women’s Ministries at Hume Christian Camps. She also shepherds women at her home church, Arbor Road in Long Beach, CA. She enjoys adventuring all over the globe with her boys sharing the love of Jesus.
She released the book and study guide Relaxed and Beautiful Word Bible study John, authored the book and Bible study Meant for Good and SelfLess, and co-wrote the book 7 Family Ministry Essentials with Dr. Michelle Anthony.
